Transportation Maintenance

The Transportation Maintenance Division supports the mission of the Public Works Department by maintaining, repairing, and preserving the City’s transportation infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable travel for the public.

The division is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the City’s roadway network, including pavement, sidewalks, bridges, medians, and right-of-way areas.

Core services include:

  • Roadway resurfacing and patching
  • Pothole repair
  • Sidewalk installation and repair
  • Curb construction and maintenance
  • Shoulder stabilization
  • Bridge maintenance
  • Vegetation management

In addition to infrastructure maintenance, the division manages a range of operational programs that enhance the safety, appearance, and functionality of the transportation system. The division also supports emergency response operations and provides maintenance of traffic (MOT) for roadway hazards and field activities.
