Land Development Division

The Land Development Division issues construction approvals and permits for all commercial land development activities in the City, except permitting for single-family homes and duplexes. These are building permits issued directly through the Permitting Services Division.

During construction, the Land Development Division staff assures compliance with the approved plans prior to issuing a Certificate of Completion.

The Land Development Division processes the following permit/plan types:

  • Parking Lot (reseal/restripe/remove/replace)
  • Relocation of Residential Storm drain
  • Full Demolition (Residential and Commercial)
  • Underground Fire Line / Dry Standpipe
  • Land Clearing and Fill - Commercial ONLY
  • Spot Dredge
  • Utility Services Relocation
  • Backflow Prevention
  • Commercial Driveway (ROW improvements)
  • Site Development Plan – Full
  • Site Development Plan – Limited
  • Site Improvement Phase - Misc
  • Pre-Application Meeting
  • Preliminary Subdivision Plan
  • Engineering Design Standards Deviation
