The Cape Coral Songwriter Fest officially takes place September 21–22, but we're kicking off the celebration early with Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend! Featuring a waterfront kickoff party at The Westin's Nauti Mermaid followed by live music at local restaurants throughout Cape Coral.
Whether you're grabbing a drink, catching a show, discovering a new favorite spot or enjoying the official Songwriter Fest, there's something happening all weekend long.
Night 1: The Kickoff
Friday, September 18
Nauti Mermaid at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village
5:30–8:30 p.m.
We're kicking things off waterfront-style at the Nauti Mermaid!
Join us for an evening of live music, local vendors, a specialty cocktail and, of course, good vibes as we officially start the countdown to Cape Coral Songwriter Fest.

Pick up your official Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend Passport at the kickoff party at the Nauti Mermaid on Friday, September 18.
Then, spend Saturday and Sunday exploring participating restaurants and coffee shops throughout Cape Coral on September 19th - 20th, enjoying live music and collecting stamps along the way. Complete at least half of the passport and you'll be entered into a drawing to win a prize basket filled with goodies from the City of Cape Coral and participating local businesses!

The Pregame leads directly into the main event!
On September 21–22, Cape Coral Songwriter Fest takes center stage with a celebration of talented songwriters and original music. Join us for free performances from acoustic, folk, alt rock, and more. Hop from one beautiful setting to another and enjoy intimate shows where the talented performers share their songs and the stories behind them.
