City Logo & Usage
Below are the official City of Cape Coral's logos available in a variety of formats to meet different usage needs. Each version has been carefully developed to preserve the city’s brand identity across all mediums. Please note that per Section 12-1 of the City Code, use of the City's logo requires approval of a formal request.
It shall be unlawful and a violation of this section for any person, firm, corporation or other legal entity to print for the purpose of sale or distribution or circulate, manufacture, publish, use, display or offer for sale any letters, papers, documents, or items of merchandise which simulate the official City Seal or a real or fictitious agency, department or instrumentality of the city except by city officials or employees in the performance of their official duties, or with prior written authorization by the City Manager or their designee.

Policy
- The City of Cape Coral’s logo is owned by the City and shall be used solely for official purposes or as expressly authorized by the City Manager or their designee.
- No individual or entity may use any mark that imitates, resembles, or could reasonably be mistaken for the City logo, where such mark is designed, intended, or likely to confuse, deceive, or mislead the public, for private or commercial purposes, or for any purpose other than the official business of the City, without prior written authorization from the City Manager or their designee.
- The City logo shall not be used to support or oppose the nomination or election of any person to City or other public office, nor to support or oppose any ballot measure, and it shall not be placed on any material distributed for the purpose of influencing the electorate, or any portion thereof, in any election.
- The City logo may appear on City buildings, pins for elected officials, City business cards, brochures, official letterhead, calendars, public notices, resolutions, awards, other formal materials, as well as on City vehicles, equipment, and fixtures as authorized by the City Council, the City Manager, or their designee.
- All non‑City use, including use by nonprofit organizations, requires written authorization from the City before such use may occur.
- If an external organization is permitted to use the logo, the logo must be reproduced in its complete and unaltered form.
- From time to time, the City may approve the use of the City logo for signature events or other promotional efforts that serve the community. Any such authorization shall apply only to the specific event, time period, and purpose described in the City’s written approval, and any prior authorization shall not be construed as approval for any future or recurring use.
