Garage Sale Permits
Apply for a permit through the garage sale page here:
Only three garage sales per address are permitted in a calendar year.
Garage sales can be one to three days in duration.
Garage sales must be at least thirty days apart.
"Garage Sale" sign and four off-site directional signs per garage sale shall be allowed without a sign permit. Note: The city no longer provides "Garage Sale" signs.
Signs must be placed at least ten feet from the front of the property line of the lot and at least five feet from the adjoining lot line.
The maximum sign area shall be four square feet.
Signs must be removed on the last day of the sale.
If the garage sale is not held, the City Clerk's Department must be notified by the following Monday by 4:00PM via email garagesales@capecoral.gov.
