Marine Services
The Marine Services Division of Parks & Recreation is responsible for overseeing and managing all recreational marine operations within the City of Cape Coral.
This encompasses the Rosen Park Marina, as well as the City’s five (4) improved boat launch ramps, including Horton Park Boat Ramp, BMX Boat Ramp, Burnt Store Boat Ramp, Rosen Park, and several unimproved freshwater ramps located throughout the City.
Visit the Beaches & Boating page for information on the Boat Trailer Parking Program, including the fees required to park trailers at the five improved boat ramp locations. All improved ramp locations include paved parking, restroom facilities, and other park amenities on site.
In addition to overseeing Cape Coral’s boat ramps, the Marine Services Division operates Rosen Park, a boat launch facility that includes a 20-slip Marina for live-aboard vessels up to 40’ in length and additional boat ramps accessing the Caloosahatchee River.
PLEASE NOTE:
A boating Safety Course is required by the State of Florida for all persons wishing to operate a boat who were born on or after January 1, 1988. Until these requirements are met, they must refrain from operating a vessel. Any person who operates a vessel in violation of these provisions is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree. Please contact any of the classroom course providers below to locate a course near you.

City Ordinance 93-22 "Mooring Prohibition"; Moored boats not located in a Mooring Field, whether secured to a structure or at anchor, cannot be located in or project into:
--the centermost 30% of the width of any waterway within Cape Coral (excluding lakes, basins and the Caloosahatchee River)
OR
--rim channels adjacent to shorelines in lakes, basins and the Caloosahatchee River
