Introducing the Cape Coral "Fun-Mobile!"
As part of the program, children may have the chance to create unique art projects, play a game of basketball or soccer with a Cape Coral Police Officer or Lee County Sheriff, all in a fun and safe environment.
The Fun-Mobile is brought to you by Cape Coral Parks & Recreation along with the Sheriff’s Activities League (SYAL) and Cape Coral Police Department (PAL). Parks and Recreation staff along with SYAL and PAL will provide positive role models for participants by reinforcing good sportsmanship and outdoor activities.
What’s even more exciting is the equipment within the Fun-Mobile is powered by the sun! Furnished with solar panels, the Fun-Mobile can go anywhere and participants can even listen to music powered by the sun! In addition, families can register for camps and classes at the Fun-Mobile during select events using the vehicle's mobile registration system.
See where the Fun-Mobile will be "Rec & Rolling" next and plan to join us!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Fun-Mobile will NOT be at Sanborn Park the weeks of July 5 or July 12; however, the School District of Lee County - Food & Nutrition Services will still be providing free lunches to children up to age 18 every weekday from 11am-12pm. We hope to have the Fun-Mobile & Coach D back again soon. Thank you for understanding.
