Classes
The Cape Coral Art Center offers ongoing art classes year-round in 4 to 6 week sessions, designed for all ages with a strong focus on adult arts education. Taught by over 17 skilled local artists and instructors, these classes cover a wide variety of fine arts and crafts, including acrylic, watercolor, and oil painting; pottery, raku, and stone sculpture; silversmithing, jewelry making, precious metal clay, glass bead-making, glass fusing, wire wrapping, stained glass, copper enameling, and more. Children and teen classes are also available, with clay being a popular medium.
Classes are held on various days and times to accommodate different schedules and are available for intermediate to advanced skill levels. All studios are well-equipped, and supplies can be purchased on-site—with students receiving a 10% discount in the Art Supply Store. No membership is required, but registration is necessary to reserve a spot in each class.

Workshops
The Cape Coral Art Center also hosts single-day workshops, allowing students to explore a variety of mediums without committing to a multi-week course. All supplies are included, and the workshops are led by skilled instructors eager to share their expertise and guide participants in creating unique and seasonal projects.
Workshops do not run during the summer months. Please check back soon for upcoming Fall and Winter 1 workshop offerings.
Events
Cape Coral Art Center hosts a variety of exciting events throughout the year, celebrating creativity and the local arts community. These events include Fine Craft Expo, Seasonal Open Houses, Merry & Bright Art Market and the annual Paint Along celebrating Parks and Recreation Month. Whether you're an art lover, a collector, or simply looking to experience something new, the Art Center's events provide something for everyone to enjoy and opportunities to engage with the arts community in Southwest Florida.

Galleries & Exhibitions

The Art Center is home to two gallery exhibition spaces, the Main Gallery and the Side Gallery, which feature exhibits throughout the year. Admission into both gallery spaces is FREE and open to the public! Each exhibition features solo, curated, open calls to artists and traveling exhibits.

- Retrospective: Larger Than Life Watercolors

- In this solo exhibition, Zan Lombardo showcases the evolution of her signature watercolor style, featuring both iconic pieces and previously unseen works that blend vivid color, intricate detail, and heartfelt poetry.

- The Witching Hour 5: Parallax

- In this juried open call exhibition, “Parallax” invites viewers into a shifting landscape of visual illusion, where perception is fluid and reality feels uncertain.

- In this solo exhibition, “Places I Remember,” Kim Carioto-Krugle shares a visual diary of her travels near and far using layered paper collages and oil paintings.

The Art Center invites submissions from established, emerging, and aspiring artists for opportunities to exhibit in our gallery spaces for solo, collaborative, and group exhibitions. Artists must have a strong, cohesive body of work ready for exhibition. Submit your proposal today to be considered for upcoming shows in both of our dynamic gallery spaces!

Creativity Camp
Discover the Joy of Art this Summer at Creativity Camp!
Creativity Camp invites children ages 7 to 13 to explore a vibrant world of color, imagination, and hands-on artistic expression. Each week features a unique theme that sparks creativity and introduces campers to a variety of exciting art techniques and mediums in a safe, educational, and fun environment.
Campers will explore a variety of artistic materials and techniques, from air-dry clay and mixed media to painting, drawing, and colored pencil work, encouraging creativity and hands-on learning.
Each week feature’s themes ranging from artist spotlights and pop culture to STEM inspired art and beyond. Keeping every session fresh, exciting, and full of discovery.
At the end of each week, campers showcase their masterpieces in a special gallery event, sharing their accomplishments with friends and family.
All art supplies are provided, campers just need to bring lunch, a water bottle, and their imagination!
Scholarship applications are currently closed. Please check back during the next application period for an opportunity to apply for a scholarship from our community partner, the Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild.
