City Accepting Charter School Authority Governing Board Applications

The City of Cape Coral is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Cape Coral Charter School Authority Governing Board.

Applicants must be United States citizens and residents of Cape Coral. All applications must be submitted by Friday, October 9, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Applications must include a resume or professional biography.
The Cape Coral Charter School Authority Governing Board oversees the operations of the municipal charter school system. The eleven-member board includes seven voting members and four non-voting parent representatives. All Governing Board members are volunteers appointed to a two-year term by the Cape Coral City Council and certified by FLDOE-approved Florida Charter School Governance Training.
