Cape Coral Turns Up the Volume for Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend

Waterfront kickoff, citywide live music, and passport experience lead into Island Hopper Songwriter Fest
Cape Coral residents and visitors are invited to enjoy Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend, September 18-20, a community-wide celebration of live music, local dining, and small businesses that leads into the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest’s Cape Coral dates on September 21–22.
The celebration begins Friday, September 18, with a waterfront kickoff party at Nauti Mermaid at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, 5951 Silver King Blvd. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will feature live music, local vendors, a specialty cocktail, and waterfront views.

Attendees can pick up an official Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend Passport and the event lineup at the kickoff party.
Here's how the passport works:
- Visit participating businesses throughout the pregame weekend on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, and check off each individual stop.
- Complete your passport to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a basket valued at over $300, featuring prizes from participating businesses and Cape Coral swag.
The initiative builds on community interest in expanding Cape Coral’s presence during the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest season. With support from local businesses and coordination with the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, the City created a new opportunity to spotlight Cape Coral’s dining and live-music scene ahead of the festival’s official Cape Coral performances.
Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend is presented in partnership with The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village and Fuego Pilates.
