Cape Coral Restaurants and Coffee Shops Invited to Join Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend

Local businesses offering live music can receive free City promotion ahead of Island Hopper Songwriter Fest events in Cape Coral
The City of Cape Coral is inviting local restaurants and coffee shops to participate in the Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend, September 18-20, a community-wide celebration of live music, local dining, and small businesses. The Pregame Weekend will lead into the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest's Cape Coral dates on September 21-22.
Cape Coral businesses that host live music during the Pregame Weekend can be featured in a coordinated City promotional campaign. The campaign will encourage residents and visitors to explore participating restaurants, coffee shops, and live music venues throughout the city.
The initiative builds on community interest in expanding Cape Coral's presence during the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest season. With support from local businesses and coordination with the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, the City is creating an opportunity to showcase Cape Coral's dining, coffee, and live music scene before the festival's official Cape Coral performances begin.
Participating businesses will receive free promotion through City outreach materials, including event information shared through City communication channels and the Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend webpage. Promotion will highlight participating locations, performance dates, and live-music offerings.
To participate in Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend, businesses must:
- Be located in Cape Coral
- Hold a current City of Cape Coral Business Tax Receipt (BTR)
- Offer live music on Saturday, September 19 and/or Sunday, September 20
- Submit the participation form by September 8
There is no cost to participate. Interested restaurants and coffee shops can register at capecoral.gov/songwriterfest and fill out the information form. The form requests the business name, contact information, type of live music, and scheduled performance date(s).
