Temporary Summer Closure of Soccer Fields for Maintenance and Improvements

Soccer fields at three parks will be closed for the summer to allow for routine rest, maintenance, and significant field renovations. These proactive efforts are essential to preserving field quality and ensuring safe, high-quality playing conditions for the community.
The following soccer field complexes will be closed on the dates listed:
- Pelican Soccer Complex: Currently closed through July 27 (Two fields will undergo complete renovations)
- Cape Coral Sports Complex Soccer Fields: Currently closed through July 27 (Three fields will undergo complete renovations)
- Jim Jeffers Soccer Complex: Closed May 25 through August 10
All other amenities at these locations, including playgrounds, walking paths, and other recreational features, will remain open and available to the public during this time.
While soccer fields are closed, baseball and softball outfields will remain available for reservation. These spaces may be used for soccer activities upon request, providing alternative options for leagues, teams, and community groups.
