Earth Day Clean Up: How to Log Trash for Pickup

The City of Cape Coral is hosting the 2026 Cape Coral Clean Up on Wednesday, April 22, and this year, we have a new tool to log your trash for pickup.
To log trash for pickup as part of the Cape Coral Clean Up, visit CapeCoral.gov/EarthDayPickup.
- Gather your bagged trash in one location for the City to collect and dispose of.
- Press the map to set your location, then choose "Allow" and press "OK" in the top-right corner.
- Add the number of bags for pickup, and take a photo.
- Click "Submit" to complete the process.

To participate in the Cape Coral Clean Up:
- Visit the Cape Coral Clean up webpage for registration details
- Gather your family, friends, and neighbors during any part of the day, and work at your own pace to clean up the areas near you that need it most.
- Log trash by visiting CapeCoral.gov/EarthDayPickup.
- Take photos of you, your group, and your collected trash. Then share them on social media, and tag us!:

- After completing volunteer hours for this event, please email Communications@CapeCoral.gov with the total number of hours worked to arrange a time for your volunteer hour sheet to be signed and validated.
