Volunteers Needed for Arbor Day Tree Planting at Crystal Lake Park

The City of Cape Coral is hosting its annual Arbor Day Celebration and ceremonial tree planting at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 24, at Crystal Lake Park, 4307 NW 36th St.
In addition to the ceremony, the City is seeking volunteers to help plant 300 trees at Crystal Lake Park. Those interested in volunteering should email City Arborist Omar Leon at oleon@capecoral.gov. Volunteers should show up with a water bottle, sunscreen, and gloves if they have them. The City will provide additional water, snacks, and all tools needed for planting.
This event is open to the public, and no RSVP is necessary to attend.
