City of Cape Coral Traffic Advisory: Cape Coral Parkway Closure for 2026 Cape Coral Art Festival

The City of Cape Coral is advising motorists of a temporary closure of Cape Coral Parkway this weekend in support of the 2026 Cape Coral Art Festival, which is presented by the Rotary Club of Cape Coral.
Cape Coral Parkway will be closed from Del Prado Boulevard to Coronado Parkway beginning Friday, January 9, at 5:30 p.m. and will remain closed until approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 11. During this time, through traffic will be detoured to nearby north–south and east–west corridors, and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
The 41st Annual Cape Coral Art Festival is organized by the Rotary Club of Cape Coral, with the City serving as a supporting partner for traffic management and public safety. Residents and visitors attending the event are encouraged to arrive early, follow posted detour signage, and use designated parking areas in the surrounding neighborhood.
