City Youth Council Accepting Applications for Communications Director

The City of Cape Coral Youth Council is now accepting applications for its next Communications Director. Applications will be accepted from Tuesday, August 18, until Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for students to actively engage in local government, collaborate with peers, and address key issues affecting the youth of Cape Coral.
Students interested in the Communications Director position must live in the City of Cape Coral, be a current high school student, and be enrolled in one of the following schools:
- Cape Coral High School
- Ida S. Baker High School
- Island Coast High School
- Mariner High School
- North Fort Myers High School
- Oasis High SChool
- At-Large - Homeschool, Private, Charter, or Virtual School students who reside in Cape Coral
