Cape Coral Youth Council to Host Special Meeting on Mental Health Awareness

The Cape Coral Youth Council invites the community to a special meeting, “Mental Health Matters,” a panel discussion focusing on mental health awareness, challenges, and resources available to support both youth and adults. The meeting will be held Tuesday, April 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers.

The conversation aims to open dialogue about mental health, reduce stigma, and connect attendees with valuable local resources. Community members will hear from experienced leaders and mental health professionals, as well as local youth sharing their perspectives and questions.

  • Nicole Liberto, LCSW, System Director for Behavioral Health, Lee Health

  • Officer Shawn Frazin, Cape Coral Police Department
