UPDATE – Reuse Irrigation Outage

City of Cape Coral Utilities crews worked through the night to repair a leak on a reclaimed (reuse) irrigation main; however, during final testing they identified a second break in the same area. To address the issue and protect the system, the reuse water remained off overnight.

Once repairs are complete, staff will repressurize the reuse system and restore normal irrigation service.

At this time, reuse irrigation water is expected to be back in service by approximately 3 p.m. today. This situation continues to affect reuse irrigation only and does not impact potable (drinking) water service.

The City appreciates residents’ patience while Utilities crews complete these necessary repairs.
