Discover What Cape Coral Has to Offer During National Park & Recreation Month

Now that summer is in full swing, it’s the perfect time to get out and discover the great things happening at your local parks and recreation centers! Cape Coral Parks and Recreation is joining cities across the country in celebrating National Park and Recreation Month—an annual event created by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and celebrated in July since 1985. This yearly observation recognizes how parks and recreation can transform people’s daily lives. Cape Coral’s park and recreation facilities provide essential services and improve the local quality of life, from providing places to play and stay healthy to fostering new relationships and forging connections with nature.
