Cape Coral Seeks Public Input on Multimodal Transportation Master Plan

The City of Cape Coral has launched a public survey that will allow residents to provide input on the City's first Multimodal Transportation Master Plan.

Running until February 2, 2024, the Multimodal Transportation Master Plan Survey is one tool the City will use to gather valuable feedback from residents regarding mobility options in the City including driving, walking, biking, riding bus transit, and using a mobility device or electric scooter.

Feedback will be evaluated and incorporated into the final Multimodal Transportation Master Plan, which will update the long-term vision for the City’s multimodal transportation system, provide policy direction, and guide the implementation of transportation projects throughout the City during the short- mid- and long-term timeframes.

A public workshop is anticipated to be held this winter to bring preliminary findings and recommendations back to residents for discussion. The final adoption of the plan is targeted for March of 2024.

Residents can provide additional feedback in the public comment section of the project website, CapeCoralMultimodalPlan.com. Residents will also be able to target specific improvements through an online interactive map, expected to be released this Fall.
