Daytime Detours on Santa Barbara Blvd. Begin August 7

Beginning Monday, August 7, daytime detours will be in place on Santa Barbara Boulevard between Gleason Parkway and Southeast 37th Terrace so crews can install a water main and sanitary sewer force main.

Work in this area is expected to be completed by Friday, August 18, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Crews will be detouring Northbound or Southbound lanes of Santa Barbara depending on which portion of the road they will be working. Detours will be put up each morning and taken down each evening.

Drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians should use caution while traveling through the area. This schedule may change due to inclement weather. 

City contractors will be installing an additional water main and a sanitary sewer force main through a series of residential roadways from Gleason Parkway to a City pump station located on Palm Tree Boulevard in support of the Palm Tree Water Main and Force Main Improvements Project.
