City of Cape Coral Update on Tropical Storm Nicole

Cape Coral Emergency Operation Center Officials are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole with our local, state, and federal partners. Our Emergency Operations Center remains activated from Hurricane Ian, which made landfall on Sept. 28.
We know many of our residents live in damaged homes or temporary housing. Information about any shelter openings due to Tropical Storm Nicole will be forthcoming.
City staff and our debris hauler are aware of residents’ concerns about debris piles. Collections are continuing as planned today.
