FEMA Disaster Recovery Center Closing Temporarily Due to Subtropical Storm Nicole

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Lake Kennedy Center, located at 400 Santa Barbara Boulevard, will be closed temporarily.
Due to inclement weather from Subtropical Storm Nicole, the Disaster Recovery Center will be closed on Wednesday, November 9, Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11. Normal operations will resume on Saturday, Nov. 12, weather conditions permitting.
Cape Coral Emergency Management continues to monitor Subtropical Storm Nicole. While this storm isn’t expected to impact Cape Coral and the SWFL region significantly, we will likely see heavy rainfall mid to late week.It is not necessary to visit a Disaster Recovery Center to apply for FEMA assistance. Survivors can go online to disasterassistance.gov, use the FEMA mobile app, or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
