FEMA Disaster Recovery Center Opens Friday in Cape Coral

A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) is opening Friday, November 4, at the Lake Kennedy Center, located at 400 Santa Barbara Boulevard. The DRC will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
According to fema.gov, Disaster Recovery Centers provide survivors with information from Florida state agencies, FEMA, and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Survivors can get help applying for federal assistance and disaster loans, update applications, and learn about other resources available.
It is not necessary to visit a center to apply for assistance. Survivors can go online to disasterassistance.gov, use the FEMA mobile app, or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
