Residents Urged to Conserve City Water Until Further Notice

Cape Coral Utilities urges all residents to conserve water and reduce sewer use after lift station failures at over 200 locations throughout the city and multiple water main breaks.

Due to current weather conditions and safety concerns, crews cannot work on the issue until the storm passes.

 Steps to reduce sewer use:

• Use cottage rules for flushing (only flush the toilet when necessary).
• Wait to shower, wash clothes, or run the dishwasher until this issue is repaired.
• Use bottled water to brush your teeth.
