Oasis Charter Schools Earn High-Performance and Excellence Designations

April 19, 2024

The Florida Commissioner of Education designated the City of Cape Coral Oasis Charter Schools as a Florida High-Performing Charter School System. Additionally, three of the Oasis Charter Schools earned a place on the prestigious Florida Schools of Excellence (FSE) list.

All four schools within the Oasis Charter Schools system met the requirements to be named a Florida High-Performing Charter School System: Oasis Elementary South, Oasis Elementary South, Oasis Middle School, and Oasis High School.

In addition, Oasis Elementary North, Oasis Elementary South, and Oasis Middle School were added to the FSE list. Oasis North has been on the list since 2016. This is the second designation for Oasis Middle and the first time Oasis South has joined the grouping.

"The designation of being a Florida High-Performing Charter School System is huge, long-awaited news for our outstanding municipal charter school system, said Oasis Superintendent Jacquelin Collins. "Furthermore, we are extremely proud to receive recognition as Florida Schools of Excellence. This can be attributed to educator engagement, staying consistent with our system's core values, and providing students with a rigorous curriculum with high expectations and outcomes."

The Oasis Charter Schools is a municipal charter school system sponsored by the School District of Lee County in partnership with the City of Cape Coral.

The City of Cape Coral is proud to see Oasis Charter Schools receive these prestigious distinctions.
