Joint Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrest

(July 14, 2023)- On July 13, 2023, Cape Coral Police Department's Vice, Investigations, and Narcotics Unit (VIN) & Fort Myers Police Department's Vice Narcotics Unit (VNU) arrested Christopher Trenell Turner (B/M 09-06-1985, 2195 Brown Street, Fort Myers) for numerous felony narcotics charges after a detailed joint undercover investigation. The investigation revealed that Mr. Trenell sold illegal narcotics on several occasions in Cape Coral and Fort Myers.

This lengthy combined investigation between both agencies reflects the continuous efforts to remove illegal narcotics from our communities.

Mr. Turner was subsequently transported to Lee County Jail.

Mr. Turner was charged with the following combined charges from both agencies:

* Cocaine Sale (Four Counts).

* Trafficking Fentanyl.

*Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription [Cocaine] (Five Counts).

*Selling Misbranded Drugs.

*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Two Counts).
