Cape Coral Man Arrested for Trafficking Narcotics
(April 13, 2023)- On April 12, 2023, Cape Coral Police Department's Vice, Investigations, and Narcotics Unit (VIN) arrested Reiner Campos Atensio (W/M 01-29-1984, 1408 Southeast 23rd Avenue) for numerous felony charges after a detailed undercover investigation. The investigation revealed that Mr. Atensio sold cocaine on several occasions at different locations throughout Cape Coral.
A search warrant was also executed at Mr. Atensios's residence, which revealed large amounts of illegal narcotics.
Mr. Atensio was subsequently transported to Lee County Jail.
Mr. Atensio was charged with the following combined charges:
* Possession of Cocaine F.S.S. 893.13 (6)(a), 4 count. [Amount: 3.9 Grams, 4.4 Grams, 3.3 Grams, 3.9 Grams].
*Cocaine Sale F.S.S. 893.13 (6)(a), 3 counts. [Amount: 3.9 Grams, 3.3 Grams. 3.9 Grams].
* Trafficking Cocaine F.S.S. 893.135 (1)(b)(1), [Amount: 314.7 Grams].
* Trafficking Oxycodone F.S.S. 893.135(1)(c)(3), [Amount: 11.3 Grams].
* Trafficking Hydrocodone F.S.S. 893.135(1)(c)(2), [Amount: 45.1 Grams].
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Manufacture, or Deliver F.S. 893.13(1)(a)(2), [Amount: 18 Pounds].
*Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription (Alprazolam) F.S.S. 893.13(6)(a). [Amount: 2.8 Grams].
*Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription [Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)] (F.S.S. 893.13(6)(a). [Amount: 2.3 Grams].
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, F.S.S. 893.147(1).
