Results of Aggressive Driving Enforcement (Operation Drive Fine, Avoid Fine).

(January 24, 2023)- The Cape Coral Police Department conducted a grant-funded traffic saturation "Operation  Drive Fine, Avoid a Fine" on January 23, 2023, specifically targeting aggressive driving/ speed. Funding was provided by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its Aggressive Driving grant. This operation was conducted citywide and resulted in thirty-five citations (nine of those for violating a traffic control or signal device). One driver was cited for a seatbelt violation. Please remember to always wear your seatbelt!
