CDBG-CV Mortgage Assistance Program
The City of Cape Coral received funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist low income families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The City of Cape Coral’s Mortgage Assistance Program will aid persons who are behind on their mortgage payments to prevent potential foreclosure. The program requires that a household demonstrate a loss of income/employment due to COVID-19 and be meet federal income requirements.

- COVID-19 related income/employment
- Income Qualified
- Home Value may not exceed $294,601
- Home must have insurance (including flood insurance if in a flood zone)
- Must provide a W-9 from mortgage company/servicer
Applications will be accepted starting Monday, MARCH 15th, 2021 at 7:30 AM. Applications will be accepted through Friday, March 26th at 4:00 PM. Applications received before this date will not be accepted.
