Construction Begins on North 2 Utilities Project
The North 2 utilities extension project (UEP) is underway. Notices to proceed with construction were issued to multiple contractors working throughout the area. Hurricane Irma delayed the construction start dates a few weeks. Construction schedules, a detailed description of the construction process and information about what to expect during construction are posted on the website.
Please expect some inconveniences as this is a major construction project. The work includes the installation of water, sewer and irrigation services, new roads and storm drainage improvements. Every effort will be made to minimize impacts to residents, and construction crews will work to maintain direct roadway access as much as possible.
