Strategic Planning Process

WHAT IS A STRATEGIC PLAN?
A Strategic Plan sets out an institution's policy priorities, programs and project plans for a five-year period, as approved by city council, within the scope of available resources.

WHY IS A STRATEGIC PLAN IMPORTANT?
Strategic planning is important in that the process assists the City of Cape Coral realize its long-term vision by setting up goals and objectives in a systematic, incremental way.

THE PROCESS:

The City developed a vision for Cape Coral and an updated Strategic Plan to make that vision a reality. The project was designed to allow for various opportunities for feedback that will drive the content of the Plan.
