Nicholas Parkway East Temporary Closure and Detours
Beginning at 8 p.m., Sunday, February 19, all lanes of traffic will be closed overnight on Nicholas Parkway East between Cultural Park and Academy boulevards and Country Club Boulevard. Roads will reopen by 6 a.m. each morning and close again at 8 p.m. until milling and paving on the roadway and side street intersections are completed.

Through traffic should follow the detour signs as follows:
- North on Cultural Park/Academy Boulevard and Country Club Boulevard to Southeast 10th Street
- South on Cultural Park/Academy Boulevard and Country Club Boulevard to Southeast 14th Lane
The following side streets will be closed at Nicholas Parkway East:
- Southeast Eighth Avenue
- Southeast Eighth Place
Country Club Boulevard
Motorists traveling southbound on Country Club Boulevard should expect lane shifts at the Nicholas Parkway East intersection.
Drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians should use caution while traveling through the area. Residents may need to access their property from a different direction. Residents and businesses should expect lights and noise from trucks and OSHA-mandated back-up beepers.
