Emergency Building Permitting Begins Tuesday, Oct. 11

The City of Cape Coral is opening an Emergency Building Permitting operation in two locations on Tuesday, October 11, to expedite Hurricane Ian recovery. Permit fees have been waived until further notice.

Effective Date: October 11, 2022

Locations:
Cape Coral City Hall, 1015 Cultural Park Boulevard.
Cape Coral Art Center, 4533 Coronado Parkway.

Services:
Permitting, Plan Review, and Building Inspections

Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The first phase of the Disaster Recovery procedure focuses on helping residents and business owners obtain the necessary permits and inspections, with expedited permitting and review.

Contractors and Owner Builders must apply in person. Permitting related to storm damage will be prioritized over processing other work.
