Precautionary Boil Water Notice, Reminder to Conserve Water
As water is restored in Cape Coral, we are reminding residents on City utilities that we are under a precautionary Citywide boil water notice. Water is safe to use for showering, but bottled water should be used to drink and brush teeth.
For residents who do have working City water, we are asking you to refrain from using it unless necessary while the City repressurizes the drinking water distribution system. Please do not wash your car, boat, or pressure wash driveways, houses, windows, etc.
Please call 311 to report the location of any water or sewer leaks. Our crews are working diligently to fix issues across the City. If you see a crew working on a water issue, please do not approach them unless there is an emergency situation. Let them complete their work so they can quickly move on to the next water leak.
