UPDATED: Everest Parkway Scheduled Water Main Shutdown Rescheduled for October 3

September 23, 2022

Please be advised that a scheduled potable water main shutdown on Everest Parkway has been rescheduled for Monday, October 3 at 9:00 a.m. in an abundance of caution due to a tropical storm possibly affecting the City next week. The work was originally scheduled for Monday, September 26. Below is a map of the affected area.

City crews will be replacing a valve, piping, a fire hydrant tee and installing a new fire hydrant. The shutdown will affect around 481 customers, and work should be completed by the mid-afternoon the same day.

The large orange-shaded area shows residents affected by the shutdown. These residents will be notified via phone, email, text message, and door tags.

Following the restoration of access to drinking water, we advise users to boil water for one minute or use bottled water as a precaution until the advisory has been lifted. This notification applies to water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, washing dishes, and brushing teeth.
