Free Swim Lessons Offered to Underserved Cape Coral Families

During July, free swim lessons are available to underserved children at the Yacht Club Community Pool, 5819 Driftwood Parkway.
During July, free swim lessons are available to underserved children at the Yacht Club Community Pool, 5819 Driftwood Parkway.
These lessons are available to children ages 3-5 and will be held from 9:30-10 a.m. Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, July 11, and ending Thursday, July 21. Each child that participates will receive eight 30-minute swim lessons.
To check eligibility for this grant program, which is made possible through the partnership between Cape Coral’s Parks and Recreation Department, the Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral, and Lee Health, parents must complete an application, including self-certification of income limits. Applications are available at www.CapeParks.com and may be returned to the pool or emailed to efield@capecoral.gov.
Applications will be reviewed within one week of receipt and approved based on household size and total annual household income. For more information, call 239-574-0806.
