Del Prado Linear Park Improvements Underway

Construction of planned Improvements to Del Prado Linear Park are underway.  The improvements are part of the Parks GO Bond and will include an area for parking, basketball courts, restrooms, lighting and a playground. 

The linear park was developed as part of a road widening improvement project.  Among the park’s current amenities is a 10 foot wide sidewalk that runs four miles from Pine Island Road to Kismet Parkway on both sides of Del Prado Boulevard.  The park offers residents a place for jogging, roller blading, biking, walking and it includes eight (8) fitness stations on the east side of the road between Diplomat Parkway and Kismet Parkway.
