Citizen's Academy
Become a Brand Ambassador for your City!
An interactive civic and public information program, the City of Cape Coral Citizen's Academy is an opportunity for residents to learn more about their city government and the services delivered. This 8-week program is intended to provide participants with insight into how local governments work, promote open lines of communication, and offer a clearer understanding of a municipal government. Held once per year, each session is one day per week and up to 8 hours per day.
Participants will visit many different areas, including the Police Department, City Hall, Fire Services, and more!
Challenge yourself by committing to this 8-week class and find out what it takes to run one of the largest cities in the state of Florida.
