Citizen's Academy

Become a Brand Ambassador for your City!

An interactive civic and public information program, the City of Cape Coral Citizen's Academy is an opportunity for residents to learn more about their city government and the services delivered.  This 10-week program is intended to provide participants with insight on how local governments work, promote open lines of communication and offers a clearer understanding of a municipal government.   Held twice per year, each session is one day per week and 4-6 hours per day.  

Participants will visit many different areas, including the Police Department, City Hall, Fire Services, and more! 
Challenge yourself by committing to this 10-week class and find out what it takes to run one of the largest cities in the state of Florida. 
Enrollment in the Citizens Academy is limited and is open to citizens of Cape Coral only.
