Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina — Cape Coral's first of its kind — is open and thriving at the foot of the iconic Cape Coral Bridge along the Caloosahatchee River. A Culinary Haven
Slipaway features 10 unique food trucks offering diverse cuisines to satisfy every palate — from gourmet sandwiches and fresh seafood to international flavors and sweet treats. Guests can enjoy their meals at The Helm Bar, a full-service central bar pavilion, in six shaded seating pavilions, or along over 1,370 feet of scenic pathways and boardwalks surrounded by lush landscaping with unobstructed views of the Caloosahatchee River. The venue's 3.1-acre site accommodates 120 dedicated onsite parking spaces, plus complimentary overflow parking and a free shuttle available Friday through Sunday from 3–10 p.m. for peak-demand evenings.
Waterfront Recreation & Boater Amenities
With 30 boat slips, a fully stocked Ship Store & Gift Shop, and a fuel dock, Slipaway is a full-service marina destination for boaters exploring the Caloosahatchee River. The gift shop is stocked with Slipaway-branded merchandise and local finds, open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Entertainment & Community Events
Slipaway hosts daily live music and has quickly become one of Cape Coral's premier entertainment venues in a laid-back, pet- and family-friendly environment. Recurring signature events include the Sip & Shop Night Market (local artisan vendors on the waterfront) and Wags on the Water (pet-focused vendor events). The venue's inaugural Fourth of July Bash is planned as an annual waterfront celebration. Slipaway is also actively accepting applications from new food truck vendors to join its lineup.

Jaycee Park - Now Open!

After a major renovation, Jaycee Park officially reopened to the public on April 30, 2026, with a Grand Reopening Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony held on May 8–9, 2026. One of Cape Coral's few public waterfront parks, this 11.8-acre community gem along the Caloosahatchee River has been fully transformed into a modern, accessible, and vibrant destination for residents and visitors of all ages.

Waterfront Enhancements
A scenic lighted riverfront boardwalk and overlook now stretches along the Caloosahatchee River, offering stunning sunset views. Exotic invasive trees were removed as part of a broader effort to restore native landscaping and preserve the surrounding ecosystem.
Inclusive Playground
The main playground features 5,000 square feet of interactive play areas with 40 inclusive elements for accessibility — making it just the fourth site in Florida to earn dual designations through PlayCore's National Demonstration Site Program for inclusivity and accessibility. Full shade sail coverage ensures a comfortable, safe environment for all children.
Splash Pad
A 5,000-square-foot splash pad is now open and ready for summer fun.
Bandshell & Event Space
A new bandshell provides a dedicated performance space for local artists, school performances, and community events, enhancing the park's role as a neighborhood gathering hub.

Bimini Square is a $100 million mixed-use waterfront development located just west of Four Freedoms Park along the Caloosahatchee River in downtown Cape Coral's South Cape district. Developed by Crowne Development on approximately six acres, the project integrates luxury residential living, healthcare services, waterfront dining, retail, marina access, and structured parking — anchoring the continued revitalization of Cape Coral's original downtown. Bimini Square is complete and fully operational. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on February 5, 2026, attended by city and county officials, project partners, and community members. - Aqua Seafood, Steaks & Raw Bar — Now open. A premier fine-dining concept founded 15 years ago in Naples, Aqua brings an elevated culinary experience to Cape Coral with a 554-seat layout, a $3 million buildout, Cape Coral's only rooftop Sky Bar, a 50-seat bar, private dining room, live entertainment, and a curated wine program.
