Median Mowing Program

Mowing and general clean-up are performed along all unimproved medians throughout the City, except those maintained by the lot mowing program typically north of Pine Island Road). 

Approximately 94 miles of medians are maintained by this program, including twenty retention ponds and sod around sidewalks abutting vacant lots.  The City employs three two-person crews to facilitate the program year round.
