Catch Basin Program

This program maintains over 22,000 basins located throughout the City, and are inspected on a yearly schedule to comply with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (N.P.D.E.S.) standards under the Clean Water Act. They also respond to citizens' requests to replace damaged metal grates, and concrete basin lids, perform catch basin repairs due to accidents, install new inlets where necessary, and remove vegetation.
