Health Facilities Authority

This five-member board was created in 1975 through the Legislature of the State with the enactment of a bill creating and establishing the City of Cape Coral Health Facilities Authority.  The Authority currently meets once a year, usually in March to discuss the Gulf Coast Village bonds.

The public purpose of the special district.  The purpose of the Authority shall be to assist health facilities in the acquisition, construction, financing, and refinancing, of health-related facilities within the geographical limits of the City of Cape Coral, Florida as set forth in Chapter 154, Part III of the Florida Statutes.
