Cape Coral Woman Arrested for Narcotics Sale

(May 22, 2023)- On May 19, 2023, Cape Coral Police Department's Vice, Investigations, and Narcotics Unit (VIN) arrested Brianne Michele Palughi (W/F 11-5-1980, 3622 Santa Barbara Boulevard South #C111) for numerous felony narcotics charges after a detailed undercover investigation. The investigation revealed that Ms. Palughi sold illegal narcotics on several occasions in Cape Coral.

Ms. Palughi was subsequently transported to Lee County Jail.

Ms. Palughi was charged with the following combined charges:

* Methamphetamine Sale Within 1000 Feet of a Specified Area (School) F.S.S. 893.13(1)(c)(1). [2 Counts: Amount: 3.6 Grams, & 4.3 Grams].

* Methamphetamine Possession Within 1000 Feet of a Specified Area (School) F.S.S. 893.13(1)(c)(1). [2 Counts: Amount: 3.6 Grams & 4.3 Grams].

* Synthetic Narcotics Sale (Fentanyl) Within 1000 Feet of a Specified Area (School) F.S.S. 893.13(1)(c)(1). [Amount: 2.1 Grams]

* Synthetic Narcotics Sale (Fentanyl) Within 1000 Feet of a Specified Area (School) F.S.S. 893.13(1)(c)(1). [Amount: 2.1 Grams].

*Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription (Methamphetamine) F.S.S. 893.13(6)(a). [Amount: 1.0 Grams].

*Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription (Cocaine) F.S.S. 893.13(6)(a). [Amount: 1.3 Grams].

*Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence F.S.S. 918.13(1)(a).

*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, F.S.S. 893.147(1).
