Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) Seeking Public Comment

(February 15, 2023)-The Cape Coral Police Department became accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) in 1989.

We pride ourselves on maintaining accredited status by adhering to the best practices of law enforcement standards put forth by CALEA. CALEA has recently opened a public access portal specific to our agency.

The below link will allow the citizens we serve to provide comments, commendations, or other information about our agency’s quality of service and information relevant to the accreditation process.
