The call notes stated a male described as a heavy-built, white male with a beard was in a physical altercation with another male on the scene. The witnesses also noted this male allegedly brandished a handgun during the dispute.
Officers arrived at the scene and contacted a male matching the description, later identified as Bryant Keith Redfield (W/M 05-09-1982, 4820 Bayline Drive, North Fort Myers). A white powdery substance which field tested positive for the presence of suspect Cocaine was also located inside his pants pocket.
A search of the immediate driver’s side area of Mr. Redfield’s vehicle, which he was seen sitting in during the officer’s initial encounter, revealed numerous amounts of illegal narcotics, scales, baggies, ammunition, glass pipes with residue, and rifle ammunition.
